The timely hitting of Carson Reese helped the Calgary Clippers down the Chicago Hitmen, 7-2. Reese was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Clippers. Calgary starter Arturo Martinez was credited with the win after throwing 128 pitches over 9 innings. His record now stands at 12-9.

Reese had a key at-bat for Calgary early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 29th home run of the season and gave Calgary an early 2-0 lead.
